6 on 1: how the Grad strategy works»

This article will discuss the new system Of the Academy of Forex trading strategy "Grad". Some of our readers may have already heard about the strategy called "No Pain Forex", which is the same thing.

Grad is an indicator trading system. The first part of it is closely tied to working with 6 indicators. Some of them are copyrighted or with modified input parameters. They provide powerful filtering on transactions, making the system a formidable weapon for anyone, even a novice trader. How to master this weapon in just an hour? Find out at the webinar (see details below).

In order to determine the entry and exit points of the transaction, we need to understand the principle of operation of each of the Forex indicators separately, as well as what role they play in the"Grad" strategy. To do this, during the upcoming webinar, together with you, we will take turns "throwing" indicators on the chart in a certain sequence. This will allow you to analyze and, most importantly, understand the logic of your trading strategy.
How the system works

Modified exponential moving average (Exponential Moving Average – EMA indicator).
The Forex channel, the breakout of which will tell us about purchases or sales using the"Grad" strategy. This channel determines corrective price movements. We use it to set limit pending orders.
Smoothing Fibonacci levels, which will be used mainly to determine the SL level.
ATR profit indicator – we take profit from it.
Modified Pj-over RSI indicator (histogram).
TTS indicator (something similar to the MACD indicator), which helps to determine the price movement.
Why should I buy it in this place? Because the price has reached the middle line of the channel (from top to bottom), and the exponential moving average is below the quotes – just like the smoothing Fibonacci levels. The latter are responsible for the stop loss, which we set 10 points below 461.8% (red dotted line). Profit is taken from the ATR profit indicator located on the left side of the data window: «TT TP (14)». Its value is 0.0020, i.e. 20 points. According to the Grad strategy, take profit will be equal to double ATR, or 40 points. This is exactly the profit we made.
Why should I sell it?

The price has reached the middle line of the channel (from bottom to top), the exponential moving average is above the quotes – just like the smoothing Fibonacci levels. Stop loss is set 10 points higher than 461.8% (red dotted line). Profit is taken from the ATR profit indicator located on the left side of the data window: «TT TP (14)». Its value is 0.0014 – 14 points. This means that the take profit will be equal to 28 points (ATR x2). This is the amount of our profit.
As you can see, there are unprofitable trades, but there are much more profitable trades. In 5 cases out of 6, we get a profit.
